He was #10 in your program, but always #1 in our hearts. He played his own heart out on the hot corner, then wore it on his sleeve as a broadcaster for the Cubs: Ron Santo will be remembered.
It was heartbreaking to lose Ronny , but he never let life get him down and we won't either -- the game must go on, and so will our fond memories. His beloved Cubs sported a small memorial patch on their uniforms in 2011, but we think that Ronny is deserving of the whole dang shirt! And what netter time to show your love than as Ronny is finally inducted in the Hall of Fame.
